Extra Virgin Olive Oil PAGO DE LOS BALDIOS DE SAN CARLOS 500 L

The extra virgin olive oil Pago de los Baldios de San Carlos has an acidity of 0.1º, obtained from the first cold press without filtering.

It is one of the top 10 extra virgin olive oils in the world.

Variety: Arbequina olive from Extremadura. Presentation: 0.5 liters.

Extra virgin olive oil is composed of 98% triglycerides (formed by glycerol and fatty acids). Among these, extra virgin olive oil contains saturated fatty acids (palmitic, stearic, and myristic), monounsaturated (oleic and palmitoleic), and polyunsaturated (linoleic and linolenic). Among all these fatty acids, the most abundant in extra virgin olive oil is oleic acid. This element has enormous beneficial properties for the human body, especially in cardiovascular and hepatic health. As can be seen in the table below, oleic acid is present in an average of 75% of the total content of extra virgin olive oil, higher than in other oils.

In addition to triglycerides, extra virgin olive oil contains other components that, although present in smaller quantities, are no less important. Among them are polyphenols, which act as antioxidants in the body; sterols; and tocopherols, among which vitamin E stands out.

ARBEQUINA OIL ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Arbequina Oil is a monovarietal oil (extracted from Arbequina olives) harvested in October.

In the Majadas del Tiétar, province of Cáceres, we enjoy a unique microclimate where we produce Arbequina Oil from the first harvest, 15 days earlier than usual. The production is very limited, which ensures the highest level of fruitiness and an outstanding aroma.

Packaging, done only on request, ensures that our Extra Virgin Olive Oil Pago de los Baldíos de San Carlos perpetuates and preserves the characteristic fruity flavors and aromas of our oil, maintaining the highest quality over time.
