DELIVERY AND RETURNS

 1.1 DELIVERY


All “JAMONIA” products are from our own factory. Hams, shoulders and meat productsbearing the "Ibérico del Brillante" and “JAMONIA” names. They are of a very high quality resulting from painstaking attention to detail in every phase of production, so that the customer receives their order optimally cured and ready for consumption. (the tiny number of problems we see are almost always related to delays at Christmas caused by overworked carriers)

 

All shipping is via consolidated carrier companies such as SEUR, ASM and ENVIALIA or companies with similar profiles.                                                                                                                     Products are packed suitably for their shipping and preservation. Christmas gifts can include a greetings card.

Shipping costs and delivery estimates

Shipping costs within the Spanish mainland depend on the value of the order. For orders over 300€, mainland shipping is free and will take between 24 and 72 hours.

For orders of less than 300€ the cost is 10€.

To the Balearic Isles, the cost is 15€ and takes 4 days, whilst to the Canary Isles, it rises to 95€ and 5 to 7 days, regardless of order value.

And for Europe:  France and Germany: 35€ and 3 to 7 days; Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, United Kingdom, Italy and Netherlands: 45€ and 4 to 7 days; Denmark, Hungary, Poland and Czech Republic: 65€ and 4 to 10 days.                                                 All these prices and times are subject to change and the definitive data will appear on the order once completed. It will always be one price per shipment.

1.2 RETURNS POLICY

In accordance with article 68 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1/2007, the customer has the right to return the goods within 15 days of receipt of same, with the customer bearing any costs incurred.                                                                                                                    Returns will only be accepted if they meet the following conditions: The order returned must be complete, including packaging as sealed in the outlet and in perfect order. If the packaging has been opened, the product must retain at least 80% of its original weight. In this case, it must be returned in its original packaging and in the best condition possible.

The return must be within 15 days of the original delivery and must be justified, for example it arrived in bad condition or exhibits an unpleasant odour. Should it be decided at the factory (from where every product leaves directly) that there is indeed justification for the return, then the product will be replaced with another of the same characteristics and the costs borne by the factory.                                    In this case please write to info@jamonia.com including a number so that we may deal with the case. Complaints about excess fat will be treated differently as it is accepted that an Iberian ham will contain 40% fat, which gives the meat its distinctive flavour.                                                                                         

 And no return weighing less than 80% of its original weight will ever be accepted.

Remarks

For shoulders and hams that have been started, it is important to be certain of the defect, as if the return is rejected by the factory, you will be responsible for transport costs.

Whole hams and shoulders can be trimmed and prepared for cutting, for your convenience, before leaving the factory.
